In order to insure that
everyone has the best time possible, the following rules apply at all socials
and other activities. Failure to abide by the rules can lead to expulsion
from the club. We don't want to be bad guys...we just want to make sure
everyone has FUN!
1. NO MEANS NO!! -
This is non-negotiable. If you don't want to do something when asked, simply say
no. Anyone who refuses to take no for an answer may be asked to leave
immediately, and not return.
2. ASK BEFORE
TOUCHING - This is an extension of Rule 1. When dancing with someone, or
in other close contact situations, ask before touching any "private"
areas. If they say no, see Rule 1.
3. NO
RACISM.....PERIOD!!!! - This should be obvious, but it includes racial slurs,
remarks, and humor. We welcome all swingers, regardless of national
origin. Racist actions or language will result in expulsion from the club
immediately!!
4. BE DISCREET - We
are all here for the same reason, and we should realize that public perception
of our lifestyle may be negative. If you recognize someone at the social
that you didn't know was in the lifestyle, don't go home and tell all your
friends. The club will not give out phone numbers or other contact
information to anyone, including members. If you lose a phone number of
some new friends and ask us for it we may, at our discretion, contact your
friends and seek their permission to give you that information. Respect
the privacy of all members.
5. DRINK RESPONSIBLY
- Nobody likes a fall down drunk hanging on them. Have a good time and
enjoy yourself, but remember that drinking too heavily can make you an
undesirable swing partner. Also, it can affect your performance after the
dance....that one alone should encourage responsibility.
6. NO ILLEGAL
SUBSTANCES - What you do in private is your own business, but bringing illegal
substances into a social is just plain stupid. It puts the entire club at
risk, and the negative publicity could set the lifestyle back.
7. NO SEX AT THE
SOCIAL - There will be lots of flirting and other fun at the social, but leave
the "main course" until after. Don't despair...Bill Clinton did
not have sex with Monica. Stay within his limits and you're fine.
8. NO CAMERAS -
We do not allow any cameras to be present at a social. If you want to take
pictures of the fun afterwards, that's your business....just make sure the other
parties consent. If they don't, then put the camera away and forget about
it.
9. SAFE SEX - This is
not a rule as much as a guideline. Obviously, practicing safe sex through
condom use is highly encouraged, given the reality of AIDS and other STD's in
our society. However, the club assumes no responsibility for the use of
condoms. If you choose to party without them, respect the wishes of those
who request them.
10. HAVE FUN - That's
what it's all about. We hope you have a great time and come back every
month to enjoy our time together. If you have any problems or questions,
